Missha Liquid Real Rouge

I bought this Missha Liquid Real Rouge from a store in Auckland City, on sale for $5.00 NZD, its regular price is $20.50 NZD instore. I'll link it down below. I thought this was a really good bargain cause you can rarely get Missha makeup so cheap in New Zealand. I got the last one in CR01.Also noticed on the packaging that Missha is AGAINST ANIMAL CRUELTY. Bonus point for Missha!! The product is 5g, so its not a lot but for a lip product, I feel its definitely enough to last for a while.

The consistency of this is quite thick, and has quite a good colour pay off. CR01 is like a coral coloured lipstick. The rouge also smells quite pleasant, like strawberries, which is always nice. However this is quite sticky on the lips and if you're someone that tends to eat out a lot, this may not be for you as it'll probably wear off pretty fast. Another good point about this is that it also leaves a slight tint after you wear it, its not very obvious, but enough to give some colour onto the lips. Personally I'm not a fan of lipglosses, or any lipsticks that feel thick on the lips, so I don't really love this. But for $5.00 I think this is a definite bargain.

Overall:
Pros:
Affordable
Good Colour Pay off
Reasonably amount of product.

Cons:
Quite thick consistency
Feels heavy on the lips
Sticky

Etude House Sweet Recipe Dear My Jelly Lips

Etude House Sweet Revipe Deat My Jelly Lips Talk has an extremely large range of colours, and personally I thought they all looked amazing, in the end I had to get my boyfriend to choose for me, (he probably just took a stab at it to be honest haha) and I got JPK004 Grapefruit Orange. I got it on Beautynet.Korea, I'll link it at the bottom, for $8.10 USD on sale, (its usually $8.99 USD), I thought this was a lot more worth it then buying it in town, I recall going to a Korean Beauty Store, and seeing it for $23.50 NZD (Which is around 20USD? I think.
Anyhow I thought this product was amazing to look at, it has cute packaging, clean and simple, with a heart and crown imprinted on the actual lipstick, which is absolutely adorable. The product goes on very well, with a slight oily film over the lips, which just feels like a regular lipbalm, and after 3-5 minutes it begins to feel somewhat watery/jelly like. The product also smells like candy, like Jelly beans. However the product doesnt last very long in my opinion. It was on for about 2-3 hours before I had to reapply. It also comes off when you eat so, remember to reapply after eating!

Overall:
Pro:
Cute packaging
Relatively Cheap
Good colour pay off
Smells yummy :D

Cons:
Does not last long

Innisfree No Sebum Mineral Powder

So went online (beautynet.korea) and decided to try the legendary "Innisfree No Sebum Mineral Powder" I have absolutely NO REGRETS. It smells absolutely amazing, and comes in a cute little container. The only downside is that the product is SO SMALL. I really thought the product was going to be much bigger but, no matter what I think that it is so worth it.It cost around $7.00 NZD which is not much for a powder in New Zealand.

The powder is a translucent white powder that makes skin look natural. I would definitely reccommend this to ANYONE with oily skin (like most of us teens), this is great for sebum control, compared to my Missha Powder, which lasted quite a long time 4-5 hours? This powder, lasted me a whole day, and there was absolutely no makeup sliding off my face and no oily skin visible. This is because the powder, absorbs the excess sebum on the face.
The powder has a minty smell which is quite nice, and fresh. The mint, and the minerals used to make the powder are from Korea's Jeju island, and are all used for oil control and moisture for healthy skin. It does not cake up on the skin, making it look unnatural, or too powdery which is amazing.

This is also paraben-free, artificial scent free, no artificial colours, mineral oil free and definitely NO animal products.

Now I totally understand why this is every girl's holy grail, because it does definitely live up to the hype.

Overall:
Pro:
Good smell
Simple clean packaging
AMAZING results

Con:
Little product (5g)

Missha Oven Pop Blush

Missha's Oven Pop Blush is a must have! Its the basic of your needs. But sadly this Blush has been discontinued, and its also my favourite blush! I bought this a few months back at a Missha Sale, they were originally around $12-15 NZD and I bought it for $5 NZD. SO CHEAP RIGHT? The blush is really pigmented so you won't be needing a lot for a natural look and it lasts on the face for a long time! There is also 6.8g worth of product and this will surely last you a long time!

There are 4 different shades of these, and they are Light, Peach, Light Pink and Pink. They're a little shimmery which means you can use these as an eyeshadow and it will look very pretty too! Theyre also quite long lasting, around 6-7 hours, which is quite good especially because of the price. Theyre all quite candy coloured and extremely cute!

There is not much of a scent to these blushes, they smell slightly soapy when in the packaging, but when you actually put it on, you cannot smell a thing, and this is quite good especially if you're not into your face smelling like a candy store. heheh.

UPDATE: I went to Missha last month (June) and they were having a clearance sale, and I managed to get the LAST Oven Pop blush in 01, for also $5, it doesn't have as good of a colour pay off as 03 does, however it is a good base for other blushes, and works really well as a base for eyeshadows!
~Cheap and affordable
~Long lasting
~Lots of product
~Lots of colours

~Not scented
~Discontinued

Sadly as this product is discontinued I am not able to give a link to the item, but search for it on google! There might be a few still floating around! :D

Missha Perfect Cover BB Cream

Missha Perfect Cover BB Cream is definitely an amazing BB cream. It comes in 4 different shades:
13 milky beige, 21 light beige, 23 natural beige, 27 Honey Beige and 31 golden beige

I decided to buy No. 21, and after using it for around 1 month I realised it was a little grey/pale for me, it made me look sickly :/ However, other than that, it is seriously an amazing BB cream, it does not cake on the face and it has high coverage. I bought it for $39.50 NZD and it comes in a 50mL pump bottle. There is also a smaller size, for around 24.90NZD and its 20mL.

Missha's BB cream is also SPF42 PA+++ So you won't need to wear extra sunscreen underneath your BB cream, which saves time and money!  How ever the BB cream does leave a sort of white caste on the face probably due to the high SPF. And if you have acne ridden skin like myself, you may need an extra bit of concealer to help over bumps and redness. This BB cream does not melt during summer so this is a great makeup to wear during summer. This BB cream has a light scent similar to baby lotion and does not irritate the skin.

This BB cream also has many ingredients which are great for the skin!
Camomile Extract: has anti inflammation properties and has a soothing effect, it also helps the restoration of skin cells and weakens allergic reaction.
Rosemary Extract: Prevents skin from aging and it also has calming, soothing, anti-fungal and anti-oxidation properties.
Ceramide: is a main ingredient and is made mostly of stratum coreneum, keeping skin moisturized with its moisture holding effects.
Hyaluronic Acid: Is one of the Natural Moisturing Factors (NMF) ingredients made by Biotechnology. Protecting skin from irritations and bacteria, keeping skin moist while creating a thin and transparent barrier on the epidermis
GatulineRC:  From the extract of Beech bud, it promotes metabolism and holding energy effect and is good for firming and moisturising effects

>Great coverage
>High SPF (42 PA+++)
>Amazing ingredients helping to regenerate skin
>Hypoallergenic
>Light scent

>Quite pricey
>Has a slight white caste

Missha The Style Nail Polish

Missha's The Style Nail Polish, is definitely something thats worth the full price of the product. Recently I went to Missha (again :p ) and I found these nail polishes for $3.00 NZD each, and they were originally $7.00 NZD, so I bought two; one in BE01 and a Top Coat. (None are the photo above) Unfortunately I'm not sure why, but the discounted colours aren't featured on their website anymore, but they had huge boxes of it, in both stores in Auckland City, so if you go yourself it probably is better. These come in 6mL bottles with black caps (unlike the image above) and very cute vertical heart shaped glass bottles. The applicator is quite versatile, and can easily do big or little nails without much trouble.

Top Coat: The product comes in a clear blue form, but when applied its colour-less. The smell of nail polish isn't very strong, unless you hold it extremely close to the face, so scent shouldn't be too much of a problem. The product dries very quickly, (for all you impatient people out there :P ) While I was applying it, I noticed that my first finger was practically dry after I was doing my fifth finger. (Probably took around  3 minutes or so) The product is also a very thin consistency, so if you rarely use nail polish, and you only use it once a month or even less, the nail polish is perfect for you because it doesn't thicken, and stays pretty much as "runny" as water.

BE01: This is a very pearly cream/beige colour, with little sparkles in it. The smell is similar to the top coat (and most other nail polishes). It also dries quite quickly, but it is quite sheer and nude coloured, so if you're looking for a more solid colour, I would recommend 2-3 coats of this. The consistency of the product is also very thin and liquidy, so it won't thicken after long periods of time. :D

The Style Nail Polishes contain, Anti-pollution complex which protects your nails. Its also free from the environmental hormones -Phthalate and Fluentoluene. It also contains coral powder which provides nails with nutrients and makes them healthy. Soybean extract is also a very important part of the formula for the nail polish, as it also provides nutrients for your nails.

>Cute packaging
>Inexpensive and good quality
>"Toxic" scent is not very strong
>Not a thick consistency
>Dries quickly

Overall, I very much like this product, because its got the quality of a high end product, such as OPI or Essie, but the price is only around 1/3 (or 1/8 in my case ^_^ ) and has less of the harmful chemicals that actually damage your nails.

Missha TS Creamy Matte Lip Rouge

I bought this product a month or so ago at the Missha Lip product sale. It was originally $20.50NZD and it was on sale for $10.00NZD. Originally I wanted the product in (BE02) but the colour was out of stock :c so I settled for (PK01) and the product has really not failed me yet.

The product is super pigmented and slightly sheer, so two coats would give a very bold colour. It is also quite light on the lips and does not create a waxy feeling like most lip products do. However I did realise at first when I was using the product it did tend to dry my lips quite a lot as it is a very matte lipstick, so I would need to use double the amount of lip balm as a base.

This product is made up of a few different (and colourful) natural ingredients, such as lemon, grape, tomato, kiwifruit and pear. It also includes Shea Butter, Mango butter and Botanical oil which is very moisturising and has nice firming effects for your lips.

Are all the avaliable colours:
Be ~ Beige; Pk ~ Pink; Cr ~ Cream; Vl ~ Violet; Or ~ Orange.

-Amazing Matte finish and pigmentation
-Not very pricey
-Very good quality
-Can dry lips a little if lipbalm is not worn

This is definitely a product I would recommend, but only if it was on sale, I think this product is something that has many dupes of that may even not dry your lips out as much, but its perfect if you regularly wear lip balm anyway.

Missha The Style Face Powder

This morning I tried Missha's "The Style Face Powder", and I must say I was very impressed. The product is packaged very simply and cute. However the product tends to "leak" everywhere, and create a dust of powder when opened. Otherwise the actual usage was quite good; and is quite suitable for oily skin like mine, I have managed to go through 8 hours without getting any trace of oil on my face (so far).
I bought this for $10.00NZD but was originally $20.50NZD, and is definitely worth the price as there is 18g of product too. I bought this powder in #3 Natural Beige. Looking closely at the powder I notice that there are lots of little glitter pieces; but to be honest they're barely noticeable. The powder also has a slight fragrance; very similar to baby powder.

The product comes with a powder puff and personally I quite like this because it has quick and easy application and spreads the product evenly across the face.

> Prevents oil up to 8 hours
> Easily absorbed into face
> Loose mineral powder that controls oil
> Provides flawless and oil free skin

However the powder comes out in large amounts and in my opinion a large amount of product is most likely wasted in the process. Overall I quite like the product and will most likely repurchase. :D

Missha Love Secret World Series

So today Missha had an "Up to 70% off" discount, and naturally I went in to go buy some discounted products. (Being the cheap Asian that I am. heheh)  and I came across the hand creams that I really liked. These were discounted around 50%, so they were usually about $10NZD but today they were only $5NZD. (They should be around 3,000W in Korea.) As I already had the green and yellow one; I wasn't hesitant to buy the both the pink ones. (Sadly I didn't buy the blue one T^T) Each of these is 27mL which is quite small.

  • Yellow ~ Sydney >> Lemongrass
  • Green ~ Rome >> Green Grape
  • Dark Pink ~ Paris >> Peony Rose
  • Light Pink ~ Vienna >> Cherry Blossom

All the products in the Love Secret World Hand cream contain Betaine (a sugar cane extract- prevents hands from dehydrating and keeps hands moisturised) and Trehalose (penetrates skin deeply and holds the skins the moisture) and also an active ingredient "exclusive" to the scent. (Lemon, Green Grape, Cherry Blossom, and Rose)
Love Secret ... Sydney ~ Lemon grass

> Strong Lemon scent - (almost similar to lemon detergent? in a good way... :P )
> Watery consistency~ allows it to be easily absorbed without leaving a sticky feeling on the hands
> Lemon extract is good for brightening and pigmentation problems!

Love Secret ... Rome ~ Green Grape

> Strong Green Grape smell (quite similar to the Asian grape candy omnomnom)
> Same watery consistency as the Lemongrass version
> The Green Grape extract brightens the skin's tonality and makes hands clear~

Love Secret ... Paris ~ Peony Rose

> Very light rose scent, which is subtle and not overpowering
> Same consistency and absorbency as the other two
> Peony Rose extract is good for soothing and moisturising

Love Secret ... Vienna ~ Cherry Blossom

> Sakura scent is mild and not overpowering (very similar to the Japanese Cherry Blossom line from The Body Shop.)
> Similar watery consistency as all of the other hand creams
> Cherry Blossom extract has good anti-aging and anti-oxidation properties :D

>Light product (27mL)
>Not too expensive ($5-10)
>Amazing scents with different properties!
>Good for travelling or school
>Very moisturising
>Very cute themes for each product

However... I wish there was a bigger version of these hand creams as I will probably run out of this product in about 2 months. I will definitely repurchase this product after I buy the blue one (Cotton White). hehehe
